Editorial & Evidence Standards

How we research, write, review, and correct the content on this site, and how we handle advertising and affiliate relationships.

Last updated: June 2026 · Bryant Park Wellness Editorial Team

Editorial independence

Bryant Park Wellness is an independent editorial publication. We cover recovery, longevity, mobility and pain, weight and metabolic health, and hormone and vitality topics with a single goal: to translate peer-reviewed research into accessible, accurate, and genuinely useful guidance.

Our editorial decisions (what topics we cover, what claims we make, and how we grade the evidence behind them) are made entirely by our editorial team. Advertisers and affiliate partners have no input into article selection, framing, or conclusions. Revenue relationships are disclosed in full in the section below.

How we research

Every article begins with a structured literature search. Our primary sources are:

  • PubMed / MEDLINEIndexed peer-reviewed biomedical and life-science journals, maintained by the US National Library of Medicine.
  • ClinicalTrials.govRegistry of publicly and privately supported clinical studies conducted in the United States and globally.
  • Cochrane LibrarySystematic reviews and meta-analyses considered among the highest level of synthesised clinical evidence.
  • Regulatory authoritiesGuidance documents and approved-use information from the FDA, TGA, EMA, and equivalent national bodies.
  • Professional society guidelinesConsensus statements from bodies such as the American College of Sports Medicine and the Endocrine Society.

We prioritise systematic reviews and randomised controlled trials when they exist. Where only observational or animal data are available, we say so explicitly. We do not cite press releases, brand-funded white papers, or non-peer-reviewed conference posters as primary evidence.

Evidence grading

We use a plain-language evidence tier system throughout our articles to help readers calibrate their confidence in a claim.

  • Strong

Multiple high-quality RCTs or a Cochrane-level meta-analysis support the claim, with consistent findings across populations.

  • Moderate

Well-designed trials exist but are limited in number, size, or follow-up duration; or findings are mixed.

  • Preliminary

Early-phase human trials or consistent observational data suggest an effect, but replication is needed.

  • Preclinical

Evidence comes primarily from animal models or cell studies; human data are absent or sparse.

  • Insufficient

Claims are speculative, anecdotal, or directly contradicted by available evidence.

Review and publication process

Articles pass through a structured editorial workflow before publication:

  1. Research and draftingThe writer conducts a primary literature search and drafts an article against our evidence and style standards.
  2. Editorial reviewA senior editor checks accuracy of citations, factual claims, evidence grades, and structural quality.
  3. Clinical fact-checkWhere the topic involves specific clinical claims, dosing, or safety considerations, a subject-matter check is performed against current guidelines.
  4. Compliance reviewWe verify the article does not make unauthorised therapeutic claims or imply professional medical advice.
  5. Publication and metadataThe article is published with a byline crediting the Bryant Park Wellness Editorial Team, a publish date, and any relevant update dates.

Corrections policy

We are committed to correcting errors promptly and transparently. When a factual error is identified (whether by a reader or our team), we will:

  • Publish a correction notice at the top of the affected article, stating what was wrong and what it has been changed to.
  • Update the article body to reflect the corrected information.
  • Add or update the "Last reviewed" date to reflect the revision.
  • Retain the original text in a correction note where the error was material to the article's conclusions.

To report an error, email hello@bryantparkwellness.com with the subject line “Correction”. We aim to acknowledge correction requests within five business days.

Advertising & affiliate disclosure

FTC disclosure

Bryant Park Wellness is supported by display advertising and, in some articles, affiliate links to products mentioned in our coverage. Here is exactly how those relationships work:

  • Affiliate links

Some outbound links use affiliate codes that pay us a small commission if you make a purchase. These are identified with a disclosure statement near the link or at the top of the article. We only link to products relevant to the topic being discussed; inclusion of a link is not an endorsement of any health claim made by the manufacturer.

  • Display advertising

We may carry contextual display advertisements served by third-party networks. Advertisers do not have editorial access and cannot request coverage, alter claims, or review articles before publication.

  • Sponsored content

We do not currently publish sponsored articles. If this changes, any paid-for content will be clearly labelled "Sponsored" and will still be subject to our accuracy and evidence standards.

  • Gifts and free products

We do not accept free products or services in exchange for positive coverage. If a product is sent to us unsolicited and we choose to reference it, we will disclose that.
